nutritional therapy consultations
An initial health check questionnaire is completed enabling the practitioner to better prepare for the consultation.
At the consultation:-
Part 1 - At the consultation the first section will comprise of the practitioner taking a detailed health history relating to diet and lifestyle and family and medicial history.
Part 2 - The second section of the consultation comprises of an explanation enabling the client to understand what may
be happening, and what changes may be beneficial to help return the body to equilibrium.
Part 3 -The third section involves both the client and practitioner negotiating a plan specifically designed for the client that is achievable and fits into everyday life.
In some cases functionality tests may be recommended to provide further information. This will allow the practitioner to
refine the diet plan specicially for the client.
Nutritional supplements may also be suggested, if appropriate.
Follow-up consultation:-
It is advisable to attend a follow-up consultation 6 - 8 weeks after the initial visit. This will allow the practitioner
to review progress and make adjustments to the plan, if necessary.
Any test results will also be reviewed at the follow-up consultation.
